The cord I use is Linhasita waxed thread. It is very durable and waterproof and can last for many years. I have worn pieces continuously for over a year.

However if your piece has other components (charms, clasps, etc.) I would not consider these waterproof and would remove while swimming or bathing.

I am able to customize some orders by offering different color combinations from what is on the listing. If you have any special requests, message me and I'll see what I can do. Expect up to 7 days turn around time on custom orders.

I consider my pieces one-size-fits-most and many are adjustable. If you have concerns about sizing, please send me your measurements before purchasing and I will let you know if it's possible to make a custom item. If you love my pieces, I will bend over backwards to make it perfect just for you.

For small jewelry items I gift wrap every order. I am able to avoid using tape in most cases, so if buying as a gift you can inspect the item upon arrival and repackage. If buying multiple items for different people, message me and I can wrap individually - additional handling fee may be needed in some cases.

When buying my handmade pieces I want you to be confident that they won't break. In 25 years of making jewelry I have not had a problem with any of the materials I am using today - but if your item does break or come apart, please message me and I'll do what I can to replace or repair the item.
